Overview

Bartholomew Island, locally known as Bartolomé, is the most photographed island in the Galapagos, famous for its iconic vistas. After landing in the bay opposite the renowned Pinnacle Rock, you start your walk to the volcanic summit of Bartholomew up to 375ft. A spectacular scenery will be waiting at the top, where you will be able to see popular landmarks: Pinnacle Rock, Sullivan Bay with its black lava flows, the islands of Daphne Major and Daphne Minor. The underwater caves and rocks make the beach excellent for snorkeling. You can see tropical fish, rays, sharks and even swim with Galapagos penguins.
