M/V National Geographic Islander is a vessel designed for exploration and discovery cruises to the fascinating islands of the Galapagos archipelago and the surrounding waters.
With 24 cozy outside cabins, the ship can accommodate 48 passengers. Eight of them, on the upper deck, have private terraces offering unfettered views to the ocean and the islands. All cabins have private bathrooms, air-conditioning, Wi-Fi access, closet space and hair dryers.
There are ample social areas, including a dining room, a lounge, a spa, a fitness center and even a gift shop in the National Geographic Islander. There are large open decks equipped with loungers and hammocks.
A public address system that guests can turn on and off keeps them up to speed all day long on the activities taking place, sudden wildlife sightings or they can hear lectures from the expedition leader.
National Geographic Islander provides passengers with all tools necessary for having a great adventure: snorkeling gear, wetsuits, Zodiacs and kayaks. It also features a Splash-Cam and a video microscope. This is a great National Geographic Galapagos Cruise.
