Bowditch Point

Bowditch Point is a peaceful coastal visitor site on the northwestern shore of Santa Cruz Island in the Galapagos. Its pale sandy beach, dark volcanic rocks, and turquoise waters create an inviting setting for a relaxed exploration. Visitors can enjoy a gentle coastal walk, swim near the beach, or snorkel among colorful reef fish, including parrotfish and large schools of salemas. Sea turtles and rays may also appear beneath the surface. Some cruise itineraries offer kayaking to explore the coastline from the water. Reached by a wet landing, Bowditch Point combines beach time, marine wildlife, and volcanic scenery in a less frequently visited corner of Santa Cruz.
