A private Galápagos cruise for your group

How to choose

Yacht, catamaran or expedition ship?

Motor yacht or catamaran

Both carry up to 16 guests and make the same landings. A catamaran’s twin hulls give more stability and space; a motor yacht has a classic feel and often a faster passage between islands. If you get seasick, choose a catamaran and a midship cabin.

Catamarans vs monohulls

Small yacht or expedition ship

On a 16-guest yacht the whole group goes ashore with one guide. Ships of 32 to 100 guests split into several small groups with their own guides, and add facilities such as a doctor on board, a larger lounge or a kids’ programme.

Small vs large ships · Expedition ships compared

4–5 days or 8 days

Eight days covers two parts of the archipelago and most of its famous wildlife. Four or five days suits a shorter trip, or pairs with nights on an inhabited island or in Mindo Cloud Forest.
